Dinner with Hannah

I have been lucky enough to have 2 of my good friends from High school out here this summer! They both have had Internships in SLC, and so Adam and I have been able to go up and see them and have dinner.
Last week we went to dinner with my friend Hannah. (We played soccer together all throughout High school). So Adam and I drove up and we had dinner at The Garden restaurant in the JSMB.
From the top of the building you could see a storm rolling in.

After dinner, Adam and I walked around temple square and enjoyed the gorgeous grounds.
I love visiting the SLC temple!

Sweet Deal

Last week we did a lot shopping and as you can see, stocked up on cereal for the next.... year. When I was looking through the coupons in the newspaper, I found a ton of coupons for Kelloggs cereal. I also had coupons from some cereal boxes we had, we had a mail in rebate form, and twice the value of the manufacturer coupons as well. Not sure if all the coupon jargon made any sense, but to say the least, we had A TON of coupons.

It just so happens that the day we went to go redeem our coupons, Albertsons was also having a sale on - you guessed it - Kelloggs cereal. We also got a few other things, but everything ended up being under 20$. If you ask me, that is a sweet deal.

CAMP

At the beginning of the summer Adam & I reserved a campsite up past Sundance for a few weekends throughout the summer! We have had just little camping trips (Fri. & Sat.) and we love it every time we go up. Its fun to be outside and use all of the nice camping gear we were given for our wedding, and we just love being outside.

So If you ever want to go camping in Utah, we know a great spot.

SOUTHERN UTAH

In April, Adam & I went with Abbi & Chad, Caytee & preston, and John to go hiking around S. Utah. We were supposed to go backpacking to Havasupai but with the outbreak of Swine flu, they closed the reservation and canceled any reservations for the month.

So Chad was nice enough to form plan B and we stayed at Adam's Aunt and Uncle's cabin and hiked at nearby Calf Creek Falls, Escalante National park, and then hiked slot canyons in Goblin Valley.
We had such a fun time and it was so fun to hike around and see the beautiful landscapes. Here are some pics from our trip!

I have a cute husband

Thanks to Adam's Mom, we are lucky enough to have pictures of Adam growing up. I LOVE looking at the pictures and thought I would share a few of my favorites! He is a cutie!

She chopped off my hair.

I got a hair cut today... and by that I mean she took off around 4 inches. I wasn't really expecting it to be quite this short- I was thinking 2 inches would be a pretty big trim... but I like it, its easy to do, and it will grow back.

well. here it is.

We are cookie monsters...

This may not look like a lot of cookies, but there are about 60 cookies right there and for 2 people, it is a lot- but we also like them a lot... so sometimes they don't stay around for too long.

WE MISS THEM ALREADY!

Abbi and chad left yesterday and are moving to Georgia. We are SO glad that they get to be around family still, but we are sad that they don't live so close anymore! We had so much fun with them and wish them the best in GA.

Before they left, we were able to go to a Real Salt Lake soccer game with them and some of Chad's family. We sat next to some real soccer fans who hit their drums, lit smoke bombs, and screamed, yelled, and danced the whole game. They were a little loud, but good at showing their team spirit. It was so fun and we even got a concert with David Archuleta after the game. He only sang 4 songs, but it was still kind of fun.

Earlier in the day I took family pics for Chad's fam, then Adam and I went to lunch with my friend Tom, from Colorado, who is out in SLC for an internship during the summer. It was so fun to see him!

ANYWAY- here are some pics from the game.
