Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas

The weather has become frigid and we have our Christmas decorations up so we are feeling the Christmas spirit all around us. We especially love our nativity scenes given to us by Lance and Mel & Michelle. Even if I am a bit biased, I think we have a pretty awesome tree. :) Merry Christmas everyone!!

I'm seeing stars (in a good way)

Adam's mom Michelle has many talents, one of which is professional quilting. She has made priceless quilts for all of her children when they get married and for each of her grandchildren when they are born. For Adam & I's quilt she asked us what we wanted and she created something beyond our expectations and she delivered it to us when she visited over Thanksgiving break. It is so beautiful and we love it sooo much! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving with Mel & Michelle visiting from Oregon and Abbi & Chad visiting from Georgia. We were able to spend lots of great time together including a BYU football game, visiting Adams grandpa's old orchard that now houses a beautiful new church, attending the Provo temple, and having a great Thanksgiving day up in Logan with Adam's aunts, uncles, and cousins. We love having family visit and it was sad to see them leave and go back home. Come again soon!!

Halloween

We had a fabulous Halloween carving pumpkins with friends, eating lots of candy, planning and attending our ward party, and creating our awesome costumes (we were the best peanut butter and jelly sandwich). :)

CAMPING IN GRAND MESA, CO

For Labor Day weekend, we met up with Troy and Brogan, Brogan's family, and Lance in Grand Mesa, Colorado. Its about an hour away from Grand Junction and it is GORGEOUS! You drive up on top of the mesa and the whole drive is beautiful. We had a blast and Troy & Brogan did an awesome job planning it all. Here are some pictures from our trip!

The Beautiful drive...
Doing some shooting...
Riding the ATV's...

Cooking some delicious Dutch oven desserts...

We saw a ton of bikers at a trail head...
Adam did some fishing at the lake next to our campsite...

Two Handsome Men

Adam's Dad was in town in August for a day or two for some meetings, so we had a chance to go to lunch with him! We always love a visit from family and can't wait until Thanksgiving to see them again!

Also, I just love this picture. Aren't they handsome?

California B-Day Trip

Finally, here are some pictures from our California/B-Day trip. We had so much fun visiting the walk of fame, the Santa Monica Pier; going to Disneyland for my Birthday (we got drenched on Splash Mountain!); eating at In-n-Out, hanging-out at the beach and Downtown Disney; as well as going to the Getty Museum. I got lots of great presents and had a fabulous time hanging out with Adam in California. I can't wait to do it again. :)
