Newlywed summer fun

It has been a fun summer! We have had a lot of fun.

We went to the SLC temple a month after we were married with Abbi & Chad...

We went to the Orem fest and had a great time at the carnival, parade, and watching the amazing fireworks show...

My old room mate bethany got married...

We went to a Bee's baseball game!

Some other fun things we have done is we went to a family reunion in Colorado, a pool party with friends, strawberry days rodeo, camping, a trip to Oregon, had birthdays, my cousin Scott's wedding, baby showers, and visited family.
Some not so fun things we did was pack up, clean, move, clean, and unpack. I am not a fan of the whole moving process, but we are loving are new apartment and ward.
I was talking about this with a friend recently, and I was reminded that another thing we have loved is that we don't have to say goodbye when we are ready for bed... we can just say goodnight!
Hope you all have had a fun summer.... and are ready for fall!!!!

Why would anyone jump out of a perfectly good airplane?

So, a little while ago I was at my Grandparents house and they were watching a show about crazy things that people do and basically near death experiences. Then- a skydiving experience came on and they said something like, why would anyone do that? Its just stupid. This got me thinking about a last year...

I have actually always been a very cautious person. While I was going to school at BYU Hawaii, my cousins and some friends were all going to go skydiving, and I decided I wanted to go. I asked my parents for permission because I knew they wouldn't be too happy if I didn't ask. Well, since they know me quite well and know that I am afraid of heights and often pass up the opportunity to go on fast and high roller coasters, I am sure that they thought that I wouldn't actually go. All of my siblings just kept saying: WHAT? JESSIE went skydiving? Mom and Dad never let us go...

Well, all I can say is that I wouldn't let myself think about how high it was or how insane it was, until my legs froze up right before we went towards the door while in the air. Good thing I went tandem. I am not sure I would've been able to jump otherwise:)...

Like I said- no one thought I would actually do it.

One of my favorites

So- I have been so so busy at work lately and I haven't been very good about editing my own wedding pictures but I promise they are coming. I was promoted so that is good news. I LOVE my job and I love doing being a photographer. So, I took this picture forever ago, and I like it, so I thought I would go ahead and share it! It is an orchid and I just like the way it looks.

And that makes 22.

My sister in-law Jessi just had her 5th girl and I just wanted to say congratulations and I can't wait to see our adorable new niece! That makes 13 nieces & nephews on my side and 9 on adam's so we have 22 nieces and nephews and they are so FUN!! We love hearing the things they come up with and being caught up on all of the fun things they are doing since we don't get to see them as much as we would like to.

So- congrats to Jessi & Dave and family!

Okay, Okay- I will update my blog.

Where do I start? I guess it has been quite awhile since I posted. So, you can start checking my blog again because I have broken the habit. Lets start with.... HONEYMOON!
We had such a blast on our honeymoon! It was so nice to spend time with eachother and just have fun! After the reception we went to a bed and breakfast in Provo called the Hines Mansion.
It was so nice, comfortable, a lot of fun and a great breakfast!
Then we took off to Colorado for another reception and spent a few days having fun there. After the reception on Saturday, we went on a 7 day cruise to the Mexican Riviera- Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas Mexico. So fun. Our room had a balcony and we definitely fell in love with the ice cream and took many trips to the ice cream machine.
I put up a lot of pictures.
Right when we got into our room!
Right off of our balcony...

Playing mini golf...
First dress up night...
At one of the show's...
the second dress up night...

The next day on the boat...

In Puerto Vallarta we did the ziplines.

IN Mazatlan- we watched a show- walked around & shopped, Ate, and swam.

Here- we are doing our favorite thing on the boat- eating.

In Cabo we kayaked out to Lovers beach then rode jet ski's around in the ocean, then ate salsa and had my favorite drink, Manzanita- its a type of apple pop. SO good.

At the Buffet, our servers, and our last couple of nights...

Overall, we had such a good time and it was so relaxing and fun. I LOVE being married to Adam. He is so fun to be around.

I would highly reccomend a Honeymoon to anyone!

Bridal pictures!

Well, Now that the wedding is over and Adam has seen me in my dress, I can post pictures.

I loved my dress! Even though we had some zipper issues ( like replacing it 3 times, the third time being the day of the wedding and about an hour before the reception...our seamstress was supposed to re-place it the weekend before the wedding... and didn't)

It was Gorgeous! I loved the antique beading and lace. I hope you agree!
I made the bouquet and loved it.

I am so so excited. I was talking to Adam's sister on the way home from School on Monday and she got me so excited and made me start to think about all of the fun that we are going to have these next few weeks! She reminded me that Adam's parents get here Friday and that for some reason was the thing that really got me thinking...

Adam and I are getting Married!!

Next week!!

I am just so so excited that I cannot even describe it. The whole process has gone so well and time has flown by so so fast! I tell Adam multiple times a day... maybe even multiple times an hour that next week is the wedding and we are starting to build up the great anticipation. WE have been waiting for this day to come for quite some time and Now it is here!

Yeah!

THREE WEEKS AWAY?

YEAH! I am so excited! things are going great and all of the plans have been going well. Adam and I handed out some of the wedding invitations to people in our ward and it was so fun because when we were walking around it started to settle in more that the wedding is just three weeks away! We are so excited, but I don't think it has really settled in all that much! Crazy!

Also... Happy Birthday to Abbi (Adam's sister) & Mel (Adam's Dad)!!!!
I am so excited to be a part of their family and I hope they had a wonderful day!
Anyway... wish us luck for the next few weeks!
Here are some of our engagement pictures!

4

Well, four weeks away from the wedding and I think my emotions have changed from "it is so far away" to "it is coming so fast"! I am so excited though and everything has been falling into place perfectly.

I am especially excited to be going through the temple in just a few weeks. I have been so blessed to have been able to see how each step in my life has prepared me. I have most definitely seen the positive influence, guidance, and direction that I have been given and how each experience has strengthened my testimony and I am so grateful for that.

I am also excited to be able to go home for a few days this weekend and see my family and all of my cute nieces and nephews. It will also be great to take a little break from classes before finals. I am sure I will be working like mad on wedding plans, but I am so lucky to have my Mom! She is so incredible and I am sure that there would still be so much to do without her. I have also had so much help from Adam and his family. I am excited to see everyone. Basically, I guess I am just excited about everything.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Adam & I. It is from a football game in 2006 after we had only been dating for a little while. I also like it because I still had long hair and Adam looks so so handsome!
